Human Resources Development: Curriculum Development, Publishing Text Books and Teaching Materials, Conducting Certification Tests, Training / Certificate Teachers and Instructors, Accredited Educational Institutions.
Cultural Promotion: Planning and Management Festival, Producing Exhibitions / Events, Creative Support, Hosting the CG Contest for Students.

Purpose of Project

Transfer its "CG-ARTS Education System" to other Asian countries, to standardize the basis of CG education and certification tests and develop a common system of human resources development.

Overview of overseas business

Since 1991, CG-ARTS is conducting "CG Certification Test" throughout Japan.
CG-ARTS aims at the development of human resources and the promotion of cultural activities in the field of image information and wishes to benefit to the public through improvement of science, education and culture.
CG-ARTS intends to contribute to the educational sector and the industry in other countries, and engage in human resource development and promotion of cultural activities in the field of image information. Specifically, in its human resource development activities, CG-ARTS is planning to transfer its "CG-ARTS Education System" to other Asian countries, to standardize the basis of CG education and certification tests and develop a common system of human resources development.

Five Education Fields

  • Digital moving image (CG Creator  Certification Test)
    Techniques of filmic expression, knowledge about current CG theories, knowledge about effective use of CG software in order to create digital moving images or stills for movies, animations, games, commercials, design and character design.
  • Computer graphics (CG Engineer Certification Test)
    Knowledge in order to develop and customize software for the production of CG moving images and stills, knowledge related to hardware development.
  • Digital Image Processing (Image Processing Engineer Certification Test)
    Knowledge in order to develop software and systems for the industrial sector, medical sector, remote sensing, robot vision, traffic flow measurement, virtual studio and for products related to images and film, knowledge related to product development.
  • Web design (Web Designer Certification Test)
    Knowledge required for the design of web pages from the stage of concept-making to the creation, for testing and evaluation up to the operation of the website.
  • Multimedia (Multimedia Certification Test)
    Knowledge related to computers and peripheral devices, internet, digital content, mobile devices, intellectual property rights, a wide variety of IT literacy and knowledge related to multimedia use in society.
