- Project Overview
The purpose of this project is to enable children in Japan and in countries in the Middle East to raise the Japanese silkworm known as Koishimaru, experience each other’s culture, deepen international understanding and friendship between them through interactions, and also to develop the children as international human resources.
ICT-based interactions will also cover topics related to the SDGs, such as education, culture and industry. This project will seek to deepen friendly relations with oil-producing countries, which act as a lifeline for Japan, through Japanese-style education.
