This project will connect Japanese educational institutions overseas (Kindergarten Departments of Japanese Schools) and preschool educational facilities in Africa online, roll out teacher training that introduces ‘integrated educational activities to nurture curiosity and inquisitive minds through play and let children experience the importance and fun of cooperative activities’, an area in which Japanese preschool education excels, share childcare practices (fixed programs and free play) and verify the effects. Through these activities, the project aims to foster the ‘power to learn’ among children in Africa.
