  The new curriculum for grades 8 to 9 to be introduced in Bangladesh in 2024 emphasizes “practical learning that promotes better understanding of subjects.” This project, therefore, will provide a teaching package that combines Japan’s hands-on learning (learning linked to daily life and society) and learning methods that use scientific calculators which are popular in Bangladesh. Through dissemination and use of the package, the project aims to realize education in which students acquire sound judgment and are able to apply what they have learned to society. The results of this project will be also reported to collaborating universities in Japan to contribute to the development of practical teaching methods in Japan.
