Project Overview
This initiative is a STEAM education program in which students from Japan and Hong Kong work together to address challenges arising from an ageing society through inquiry-based learning. The program integrates three key components: (1) workshops that apply design thinking to guide students from identifying real-world challenges and developing solutions to creating prototypes; (2) an international competition where students present and showcase the outcomes of their work in English; and (3) cross-cultural learning and exchange. Through these experiences, the program aims to nurture the next generation of innovators while promoting Japanese-developed approaches to international education globally and contributing to the development of solutions to social challenges.
