Project Overview
Although the recorder has appeared in textbooks in Kenya, it has not been used in actual lessons. This project aims to promote the proper implementation of music lessons using recorders in accordance with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Training will be provided using teaching materials specifically designed so that even teachers with no prior background in music education can confidently deliver the lessons. Leveraging our knowledge of Japanese-style music education, the project will support the introduction of music education, including instrumental activities, in pilot schools.
