Project Overview
This project will develop inquiry-based teaching materials that utilize the bioresources (morning glories, soybeans, etc.) and research infrastructure of the National BioResource Project (NBRP), as well as rice and tea, which underpin Japanese food culture. Combining online and face-to-face classes connecting Japan, the United States, and other countries, the project will implement interdisciplinary inquiry-based learning spanning the natural sciences, social sciences, and home economics, covering food and nutrition.
