Project Overview
In this collaborative initiative, three schools from Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore carry out an online joint PBL (Project-Based Learning) project focused on solving societal challenges using AI. By using a next-generation evaluation model that measures critical thinking, digital, ethical, future-oriented, and global competencies, the project empowers students to become responsible future leaders.
This framework was developed by Dr Suzanne Choo in collaboration with the Singapore Centre for Character and Citizenship Education, Hwa Chong Institution, and Seifukan High School through the Japan–OECD Joint Research Network, which is connected to the OECD Future of Education and Skills 2030/2040 project.
The results will be presented internationally at a joint student conference in Hong Kong. Following this, a bilingual PBL manual and 1on1 mentoring guide will be published to share this educational model globally.
