GAKKOTOSHO is a textbook publisher founded in 1948. We mainly publish science and mathematics textbooks for elementary and junior high schools. From 2016 to 2019, as part of a JICA project, we were involved in the development of 3rd to 6th grade mathematics and science textbooks for elementary schools in Papua New Guinea. In 2022, we signed agreements with the Ministry of Education of Papua New Guinea to jointly develop 1st and 2nd grade textbooks (mathematics and science), and also started creating and selling textbook-based math workbooks.
