Supported Projects (open call for proposals)

EDU-Port Japan implements Supported Projects as initiatives that introduce other countries to Japanese-style educational content, methods and expertise, and make use of the acquired expertise to give something back to education in Japan. Rather than being limited to school education, these Projects provide support, through a public call for proposals, for educational initiatives in all areas of lifelong learning by way of new overseas projects and ongoing overseas projects that are being expanded.
In the 10-year period from 2016 to 2025, at least 130 Projects were selected in a variety of fields, such as science, mathematics and engineering education, ICT utilization, teacher training, and special activities (Tokkatsu).
